New Deposit Policy for Unreturned Plastic Crates

Over the years of delivering goods in crates, we truly appreciate that most of our customers promptly return their empty crates to us during their next delivery.

However, some customers are still not returning their crates from previous orders when our drivers arrive, even after we send reminder messages. Because of this, a large number of our crates end up sitting at customers' stores. This shortage makes it difficult for us to prepare new orders and directly affects our overall service quality.

To resolve this issue, starting June 1, 2026, Tamda will require a deposit of 250 Kč per crate for any unreturned crates from previous deliveries, if they are not handed back during your next delivery. Our drivers will collect this deposit and issue you a receipt.

Please keep this receipt safe. You will need it to get your money back. Your deposit will be fully refunded once you return all outstanding crates, but please note that refunds will only be issued upon presenting the original deposit receipt.

If you are unsure about how many Tamda crates you currently have, please contact our Call Center between now and May 30th so we can check your balance for you.

Free delivery conditions:

  • Minimum 5 000 CZK: For addresses in Prague, Brno, and areas within 50 km of TAMDA Ústí as per Google Maps routes for private cars.
  • Minimum 10 000 CZK: For addresses in the Central Bohemian Region, Brno-venkov, South Moravian Region, and Ústí nad Labem Region.
  • Minimum 20 000 CZK: For addresses in all other regions of the Czech Republic.
  • For Slovakia: Delivery charge is 0.45 EUR/km.

Payment methods: Payment upon receipt of goods directly at your store or other methods as agreed in individual contracts. Delivery time: The TamdaExpress service will send an SMS with the estimated delivery date. If there is a change from the scheduled date, please contact the service's customer hotline for assistance.
